VALERIUS is a single-player gladiator management game set in ancient Rome. Recruit, train and equip your fighters, manage the treasury, and guide their careers through simulated 3D arena combat.

Run your ludus

Choose recruits, assign training, manage injuries, and balance wages, upkeep and equipment costs. Prepare for the next games while keeping your school and its fighters ready.

Shape your fighters

Develop eight gladiator classes with different matchups and equipment. Buy, earn, repair and improve weapons and armor as experience, fatigue and morale shape each career.

Compete across the seasons

Choose scheduled games, enter tournaments and climb league tiers. Set your approach before combat, then follow the bouts with pause, speed and replay controls. The combat simulation controls the fighters.

Early Access

EA77 R2 is an in-development Windows build. Expect bugs, balance changes and unfinished presentation. Audio, controller compatibility, broader hardware compatibility and stability review remain unfinished.

Back up saves before updating; newer saves may require a newer build. Screenshots include development captures and staged loadouts or arena bouts, as labeled.

Playing VALERIUS

Use mouse and keyboard: arrows or Tab / Shift+Tab navigate, Enter / Space selects, and Esc goes back. Alt+Enter toggles windowed and borderless display. Menu gamepad navigation is included: D-pad / left stick moves focus, A selects and B goes back; physical-controller compatibility remains under review.

System requirements

Windows 11, 64-bit; graphics supporting OpenGL 3.3; keyboard and mouse. The download includes its .NET runtime. Normal play is local and offline. Minimum CPU/RAM targets and broader hardware compatibility are still being established.
